The 1958 Hollywood film "Wolf Dog" began as "A Boy And His Dog", the working title for a movie shot in Markdale, Holland Centre, Fergus/Elora and environs in August of 1957. The film disappeared for over 40 years, before Markdale area citizens began to reminisce about the event in their local newspaper's opinion page, particularly the Markdale Rotary Club. I began to research the subject and posted a website in 2004. In 2009, Yahoo/Geocities ended their free web service, spelling the end of the old fansite. A period of change in my life means this new site is a work in progress, so please be patient with me.
