Fast forward to about 70 years later.
In summer of 2024, Tom and Tracey Strnad, of Mountain Goat Films and actor/researcher Jeff Wilson joined forces to propose a new digital video series to chronicle a variety of films shot in small-town Canada.
The pilot of this series shares the film "Wolf Dog" (1958), which film researcher Wilson was well-acquainted with. A list of other projects are on deck for coverage in future.
Using the Craigleith Community Centre, downtown Markdale, Ontario and East Back Line, Chatsworth Township and L. E. Shore Library Branch of the Town of the Blue Mountains as shoot locales, the first four shorts of the series were introduced by late 2024.The two final shorts were released in a Video-on-demand format (99c to rent for 48 hours and $1.99 for forever access) as of this writing in July 2025.
